Dolomit's Chemical and Physical characteristics are similar to Calcium Carbonate. If we compare with Calsit it can be seen that Dolomit's density, hardness and resistance against acid is higher.
In the paint formulation Dolomit is preferred to use instead of Calcium Carbonate according to these characteristics. High natural Whiteness and Puriest products with suitable particle size distribution have a big demand in the paint industry.
